WUHAN NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (WN-CoV)

PUBLIC HEALTH ADVICE

Currently, if WN-CoV infection is seen in the UK, it is most likely to occur

in travellers that have recently returned from Wuhan city in China.

Wuhan novel coronavirus (WN-CoV) may cause mild to moderate illness, in addition to pneumonia or severe acute respiratory infection.

If you have travelled to this region of China or, if you have been in contact with someone who has and are suffering the above symptoms please do not enter the surgery and call us instead.  We will still arrange for you to be seen as we would need to take an accurate travel history which would be a key part of identifying potential risk.
